Austin Lara is a San Diego raised, LA based Korean American artist. Austin’s sound blurs the lines between contemporary r&b, psychedelic rock and vintage 70's soul. As an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and producer, he channels his energy towards creating studio recordings and creating a captivating live performance.

As an experienced live drummer, he is now taking the stage as an artist. Drawing from his punk roots, his philosophy towards live performance revolves around cultivating energy and building an intimate connection with the audience. Additionally, performing with a 4 piece live band, he values authentic musicianship and musicality.

His debut record “FEATHERFALL” (scheduled for release in 2025) encapsulates an honest representation as an artist. The record was self-produced and carefully crafted to capture a period of time. (samples below)
